Carol Wertheimer has served as an educator with the NYC Public Schools for 37 years, 15 of which was a principal of a Pre-K -5 school. Carol has had articles published in the TESOL Journal, “The Idiom and Teaching K-8”. She has also coauthored a reading manual, “ Learning in Style for Struggling Readers Grades K-1”. She has presented her work at local, national and international conferences. Since her retirement she has been instrumental in facilitating principal study groups, writing and facilitating workshops using the latest research, mentored assistant principals and supervised student teachers.
