Evelyn Terrell was a former New York City educator. During her 29 years of service with the Department of Education, she served as an elementary school principal, assistant principal, staff developer, and early childhood gifted classroom teacher. Under her leadership as principal, the Sunday New York Times, education section, recognized her staff for making consistent gains in mathematics. Ms. Terrell is part of a team of reviewers that conducts Quality Reviews across New York City and supports the Quality Assurance process to ensure that all schools have fair, accurate, and informative experiences. Evelyn is an adjunct professor at Stony Brook University, mentoring and supervising aspiring administrators as they pursue their SBA and SDA certifications. She has also worked with Stony Brook University mentoring administrators in New York City and Long Island. Evelyn holds a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Science degree from CUNY-Queens College. She received her Advanced Certificate degree in School Administration and Supervision from Brooklyn College. Ms. Terrell is a certified School District Administrator.
