Gerard K Beirne During four decades of dedicated service to NYC school students, Gerard Kieran Beirne has served as a teacher of mathematics at the middle, high school and university levels. In recognition of his proven performance, building and then central office leaders promoted him to positions with titles such as:

Gerry was also asked to serve as a facilitator for the B0E Teacher to Assistant Principal Program , Peer Group Facilitator Program and the DOE Aspiring Superintendent/Network Leader program. With degrees from Manhattan College and St. John’s University, he has taught mathematics at St. John’s University, joined the staff of CEI, served as a consultant for the Executive Leadership Institute and for more than a decade shared his craft, serving on the Graduate School of Education faculty of Fordham University and Mercy College. He has received numerous leadership awards including those from the Citywide Council on the High Schools, the Queens Confederation of High School Parents, NCCJ, NYPD, the NYC Catholic Teachers Association and the NYCDOE Emerald Society.
