Joan L. Thomas is a proud product of the New York City public school system as a student and an educator. Joan enjoyed a successful 35 year career working in District 22 (Brooklyn) and District 28 (Queens) During her 35 year career, she served in various capacities: special eduction teacher, Special Education Supervisor, Assistant Principal and Principal. Joan also is a graduate of the ALPAP – the Advanced Leadership Program for Aspiring Principals. She looks forward to sharing her strengths and experience with school leaders through mentoring and coaching so that the work she has done during her career can continue.
