Lilia Navarrete

Lilia Navarrete is a former New York City educator with over 36 years of experience including 17 years as an elementary school principal. During her tenure within the NYC Department of Education she served as a bilingual and monolingual teacher, Dual Language Program Coordinator, Staff Developer, Administrative Assistant, District Standards/Curriculum Specialist, Assistant Principal and Principal. Lilia Navarrete has served elementary and middle schools in the areas of curriculum development, management and organizational skills, budget in school leadership, instructional support systems, pedagogical development and or reinforcement, capacity building and leadership coaching. As a professional developer Ms. Navarrete has facilitated a variety of school, district and city-wide trainings.

Lilia Navarrete earned her Master of Science in Education and Master of Science in Administration and Supervision from CCNY. She served as part of the National Association of School Principals for selecting and developing principals. She has also collaborated with the NYCDOE in coaching customized support for school design teams to Imagine/Reimagine their schools.

Currently, she is working with School Leaders and Educational Administrators as a consultant providing individual or team mentoring and coaching support in all school leadership areas.
