During the years 1984-2017 I was an educator with thirty four years experience in elementary schools, including 17 years as a DOE principal, 1 year as a founding principal for the elementary division of a NYC Charter School, four years as an Asst. Principal and 10 years as a DOE teacher. In 2015 I was recognized as a “Model Principal” for my work on dual language programming and became a Learning Partner Host Principal for NYC schools by designing and developing action plans and professional development for dual language practices for NYC partner schools and staff. Currently I am working with the Executive Leadership Institute mentoring new administrators as well as planning, designing and delivering professional workshops for ELI participants on key administrative/supervisory topics and practices. My husband Anthony and I have been married for 45 years. We have two daughters, Diana and Nancy, and three grandchildren, Sophia, Isabella and Victoria. I continue to enjoy learning and exploring new and better ways to be a more effective leader/consultant, and a more productive time manager while enjoying family, friends and new adventures. I am grateful for the opportunities afforded to me.
