Patricia A. Romandetto

Patricia A. Romandetto, a.k.a Pat, has been a consultant with the Executive Leadership Institute (ELI) since retiring from New York University (NYU) in 2019, where she served as Associate Director of the Office of Clinical Studies for 16 years. Prior to that, Pat worked for the New York City Department of Education (NYCDOE) for almost 40 years as a teacher, supervisor and administrator. She retired from the NYCDOE in 2003, after serving her last 6 years as Community Superintendent of Community School District #3, on the Upper West Side of Manhattan.

Over the years, Pat has served on the executive boards of several educational organizations, most notably the following:

  • President of the New York City Chapter of the National Council of Administration Women in Education (NYCAWE)
  • Vice President of the New York City Chapter of the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (NYCASCD)
  • Appointed Committee Member of the prestigious National Children’s Book Committee located at the Bank Street College of Education
  • Nominated and elected Committee Member of The Woodrow Wilson – Rockefeller Brothers Fund Fellowships for Aspiring Teachers of Color

Also, Pat is the recipient of the Upper Westside Chamber of Commerce Education Award for Excellence (2004); the Community Leadership Award from Fordham University/Fieri Organization (2008); and the Elizabeth Rohatyn Award for Community Service from Lenox Hill Neighborhood House (2013).
