Suzanne Scalcione is a 35-year veteran New York City middle school teacher and administrator. She worked for the Department of Education as a middle school reading instructor, middle school staff developer in district 27, Education Administrator; writing English Language Arts curriculum at Tweed, and was a former assistant principal in District 26 Middle School 74. Prior to joining the team of mentors at ELI four years ago, Suzanne worked for Brooklyn College, mentoring teachers in the college’s administrative training program. Since working at ELI, Suzanne has had the pleasure meeting and mentoring new elementary, middle school and high school assistant principals.
