This workshop explores the basics of Artificial Intelligence as well as the history, terminology, benefits and challenges of using AI and its growing impact upon education.
Participants will be given the opportunity to examine various software providers, discuss what can be asked of AI and engage in hands-on activities. They will review a sample AI policy for schools and discuss the role AI can play in schools by examining how they see themselves, their staff and their students, developing knowledge and skills through interaction with AI.
