This session will be interactive for administrators to discuss and build an asset-based approach for an equity mindset that operationalizes their leadership vision for equitable outcomes for all groups of students. Equity of Effort is a framework that informs an explicit process, beginning with data to inform practice. There will be time provided to review and discuss the latest research.
Administrators will:
• Review CRSE from an administrators’ lens.
• Discuss the Equity of Effort framework: A New Habit of Mind.
o Using prosocial as an asset based or values-driven approach to build an equity mindset.
• Create a focus for faculty and staff around common goals and values in their equity work!
• Identify action steps to attain goals for sustainability.
