This session will introduce a clear process for improving student behavior by integrating equitable practices, data-driven decision making, and a functional approach to multi-tiered behavioral supports. Leaders will be guided through adapting this process to their context, within their established systems – with an eye on understanding systematic barriers to success and how to resolve those barriers.
Administrators will:
• Use current behavior and discipline data to target needs.
• Assess for equitable practices in Tier 1 & 2.
• Identify barriers to change.
• Use functional approach to choosing Tier 2 interventions.
• Integrate systems: data, assessment, intervention.
