Building Diversity through the Arts

This workshop offers school leaders an understanding of the importance of infusing arts into our schools. School leaders will learn the essential knowledge and skills necessary to increase students’ participation in the arts and develop an understanding of why diversity, equity, and cultural identity needs to be included in arts education. The Blueprint for the Teaching and Learning in the Arts will be examined from a leader’s perspective; participants will learn ways to celebrate the arts in their schools. (ST78)
