How Can Our Schools Move Social Justice Forward?

This workshop will offer participants insights on how their school can respond to
the social justice movement. During the presentation participants will review
historical milestones, look at systemic racism and its effect on education, and
explore proactive ways to reduce bias and create equity in schools. Participants
will recognize and share their thoughts on implicit and explicit bias. The
materials and best practices shared are designed to be used in the participants’
schools to enhance the learning environment so that it is productive for all children
