How Leaders Inspire Teachers To Ensure Student Achievement

This workshop supports leaders in helping make connections between teacher effort and student impact. Participants examine efficacy to see how collective teacher efficacy has a positive impact on teaching and learning. We explore how agency connects to efficacy and thus impacts student outcomes. Participants discuss the importance of including both efficacy and agency into their school culture. The workshops culminate with a discussion on empathic feedback, which is necessary if efficacy is part of the school culture. [ST87]
