In this independent session of the mental and physical wellness workshop series, participants will practice gentle stretching exercises and basic yoga in a chair focusing on modifications for limited mobility or compromised health while incorporating breathing, mindfulness, and somatic movement. No experience needed; all abilities, ages, body types, genders, and cultures are welcomed. Comfortable clothing that allows free movement and water for personal hydration is highly recommended. Somatic movement practices adapted from Moving for Life Dance Exercise for Health®️
