In this independent session of the mental and physical wellness workshop series, participants will work on aerobic cardiovascular health through rhythmic and repetitive dance exercises to increase heart rate with customized intensity while incorporating breathing, mindfulness, and somatic movement. No experience needed; all abilities, ages, body types, genders, and cultures are welcomed. Comfortable clothing that allows free movement and water for personal hydration is highly recommended. Somatic movement practices adapted from Moving for Life Dance Exercise for Health®️
