This workshop is based on the book Trust-Based Observations: Maximizing Teaching and Learning by Craig Randall. The workshop explores the importance of building trusting relationships that inspire teachers to achieve greater results as they feel safe and supported.
The workshop discusses steps that lead to building these relationships including providing reflective feedback to teachers.
The workshop identifies how to build relationships by emphasizing teacher strengths over classroom errors. In this environment supervisors create an atmosphere where teachers stretch their creativity and expand their skills. The workshop provides hands on activities where supervisors can practice reflective feedback conversations which lead to student success. [ST91]
