This workshop will look at how school leaders can maximize your budget when faced with cuts in funding. It will consider how to plan for the “unexpected” budget reductions. The workshop will cover basic budgetary issues including “MY GALAXY,” types of funding and grants, contractual and funding mandates, staffing and how student achievement impacts on your budget decisions. Participants are asked to bring a copy of their own school budget to the session.
